Michael Homes Inc., incorporated on November 8, 2004. Its primary business activities are the development and construction of multifamily and single family dwellings. The company operates and does business primarily in the city of Edmonton, Alberta.

Michael Homes Inc. is managed by its President, Michael Thibert. Mr. Thibert has accrued over 30 years of management and business experience, both in Canada and abroad. This management experience, combined with over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry, gives Mr. Thibert a unique and ideal combination of expertise to manage Michael Homes Inc.

Mr. Thibert first become involved in the construction industry in the late 1980’s, when he and several partners purchased, renovated, and sold single family houses in a variety of neighbourhoods near the University of Alberta. Houses were renovated in the districts of Old Strathcona, Belgravia, McKernan, and Queen Alexandra.

After several successful years, the group took its expertise to Costa Rica. There, Mr. Thibert and two of his associates purchased and developed Condominio Gaviotas del Sol, a gated community consisting of 15 executive condominiums located in Playa Hermosa, Guanacaste.

On return to Edmonton, Mr. Thibert parted company with his partners. Working to a strategy of his own development, he initiated the acquisition phase of his present real estate portfolio.

In 2000, Mr. Thibert assumed management of the Effective Property Management Company, a firm that maintains rental properties for rental units owned by Mr. Thibert and others. He has managed this company continuously since 2000 and continues to manage it at the present time.

Mr. Thibert’s most recent venture Michael Homes Inc., was incorporated in 2004. With its team of highly qualified tradespeople, the company has successfully completed several new home development and construction projects, including a multi-family complex, duplexes, and single family homes. Mr. Thibert serves as manager of development and construction for the company.

Michael Homes Inc. is a registered member of the HomePro Warranty Program with Progressive Home Warranty Solutions Inc. and a member of the Better Business Bureau.
