The demand is on, as home buyers seek out new homes in old mature neighborhoods. they want to get close to all amenities as much as possible. EDMONTON – Buyer satisfaction regarding new homes in the Edmonton market has increased since 2009, says the latest J.D. Power and Associates survey.
Overall new-homebuyer satisfaction increased to 711 on a 1,000-point scale, according to the 2011 Alberta New-Home Builder Customer Satisfaction Study.

The market huffed and puffed, and the housing starts came crashing down — at least for now. Slow on housing starts, means decrease in Edmonton homes for sale.
According to statistics and forecasts released by the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC), housing starts in 2011 are expected to continue their path of a slow start, and improve as the year progresses.
